Book Review

"For Whom the Minivan Rolls"

by Jeffrey Cohen

What it's about:
This new series introduces Aaron Tucker, a vertically-challenged freelance writer and stay-at-home father. Aaron writes reviews for newspapers and magazines about electronics, but a buisness acquaintance volunteers him to do some investigating on behalf of a wealthy local buisnessman whose wife has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Aaronspends his time following a convoluted path to find out what happened.

Why I like it:
Cohen has created a likeable character in Aaron Tucker. This book is told with humor and insight into the life of a stay-at-home dad as well as a dedicated, if reluctant, investigator. Aaron never really wants to take on this case, but finds himself unable to turn it down. The characters in the story are well written, and the plot has many ups and downs to keep the reader on his toes. You'll enjoy this wild ride with Aaron as he stumbles from clue to clue.
